Ridgeline Land & Mulch

Forestry mulching · lot clearing · underbrush

We open up land without tearing it apart.

A mulching head grinds brush and small trees into a mulch layer that stays on your soil, holds moisture and suppresses regrowth. No burn piles, no haul-off, no rutted ground. Most acreage is walkable the same afternoon.

Field notes

Questions we answer on nearly every walk-through. Ask us anything else when we come out.

Will the mulch kill my grass?

No. We spread it two to four inches deep. Grass and native seed come through it within a season, and it keeps the brush from coming back first.

How wet is too wet?

Our machines are tracked and low ground pressure, so we work in conditions a skid steer cannot. If it will rut, we reschedule rather than tear up your ground.

Can you save specific trees?

Yes, and we would rather you flag them with us on the walk. Hardwoods, fruit trees and anything shading the house are usually worth keeping.

Do I need a permit?

Mulching rarely needs one because nothing is hauled off or burned. Inside city limits or near a creek buffer we check the local rules for you before scheduling.

“Twelve acres we had not walked in years. Two days and it looks like a park, and the oaks we asked for are all still standing.”

P. Hollis · Bearcamp Road

“Cleared our fence line to the pin on both sides. The fence crew said it was the cleanest corridor they had worked in.”

J. Reyes · Little Creek

“Insurance wanted thirty feet of defensible space. They documented every foot of it and our policy was renewed.”

A. Kemp · Summit Ridge
