Building pads & basements
Strip, cut, fill and compact to engineer's spec, with compaction testing and a stamped as-built.
Site prep · grading · trenching
Twenty-six years of excavation for builders, developers and homeowners. Pads, basements, driveways, ponds, storm and sewer. We shoot our own grades and hit them.
Bonded for public work and comfortable on residential lots. Everything below is run by our own operators on our own iron.
Strip, cut, fill and compact to engineer's spec, with compaction testing and a stamped as-built.
Rough and finish grade, swales, French drains, dry wells and regrading yards that hold water.
Water, sewer, storm, electric and gas laterals. Locates called, trenches shored, backfill compacted in lifts.
Base prep for asphalt and concrete, plus crowned gravel drives with culverts and geotextile where it is needed.
Farm ponds, detention basins, berms and retaining walls, keyed and clay-lined so they hold.
Slabs, outbuildings, old septic and pools removed, with concrete crushed and recycled where we can.
Because we own the fleet, we are not waiting on a rental yard when the weather opens up. Machines are serviced in-house every 250 hours.
“They were on site the Monday they said, and the pad was ready for footings Wednesday. That never happens.”
“Our back yard drowned every spring. They cut two swales and a dry well and it has been dry for three years.”
“Bid was line-itemed and the final invoice matched it. Their operator caught a mis-marked gas line before anyone dug.”
Send plans if you have them. For residential work a photo and rough dimensions are usually enough to start.
Estimating will come back within two business days, sooner if the scope is straightforward. Call the office if the schedule is tight.
