Taking the old dock out is part of the job. We pull the pilings, barge the sections off, and leave the shoreline clear.

06 · About us

A local crew that treats your shoreline like its own

Blue Harbor Dock & Lift is a family-run waterfront contractor serving homeowners, marinas and lake associations in the area. We keep the crews small, the schedule honest, and the phone answered by someone who has actually driven a piling.

If a project is not right for us, we will say so and point you to someone who can help.

07 · Compare systems

Which dock is right for your water?

Type Water depth Level change Lifespan Best for
Floating Any depth Rides with it Long Fluctuating lakes, deep drop-offs
Piling Moderate to deep Fixed height Very long Current, wind, permanent installs
Crib Shallow Fixed height Very long Rocky bottoms, northern lakes
Roll-in Shallow Seasonal removal Long Sandy bottoms, seasonal use

General guidance only — we will read your shoreline and recommend what suits the depth, the bottom and your budget.

08 · Reviews

Trusted by waterfront owners across the lake

★★★★★
They set the pilings dead plumb, and the lift still cycles smooth after a full season. Shoreline was spotless when they left.
Dana R. Cedar Park neighborhood
★★★★★
The estimate was itemized, so I knew exactly what I was paying for. No pressure, no upsell, and the crew was careful around the seawall.
Miguel S. Westside
★★★★★
Our bottom drops off fast and they sized the walkway so the lift sits in real water. Looks better than the neighbors' new dock.
Karen T. Millbrook
★★★★★
Needed a marina walkway rebuilt between weekends. They worked around our schedule and finished a day early.

12 · FAQ

Common questions

How long does an installation take?+

Most residential docks and lifts go in within one to three days once materials are on site. Boat houses and marina work take longer.

Do you handle permits and lake authority approvals?+

Yes. We prepare the drawings and submit the applications most lake authorities and municipalities require.

Will you remove my old dock?+

We do. Removal and haul-away appear as a line item on your estimate so you can see the cost.

How much does a dock or lift cost?+

It depends on length, water depth, the bottom, decking and lift capacity. The on-site estimate is free and itemized.

Do you service lifts you did not install?+

Often. We repair and re-cable most major lift brands, and we will tell you plainly if a unit is past saving.
